Continuing or new partnerships with training and education institutions will be dependent on institutional assurances that program content is relevant to the current and future job markets. Many participants are not aware of the types of occupations that will be in demand. Nor are they aware of the institutions that will teach them the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed in the upcoming workforce. The YDSP TIETP will build and sustain partnerships with key training and education organizations to provide participants with upcoming industry skills. If classroom and hands on training is the route the participants seeks; it is feasible (or student aid permits); he/she will be encouraged to take courses that prepare him/her for forthcoming employment opportunities as illustrated below or as the demand in the workforce region dictates.
